This talk is the best of four recordings that I have.

When first released over a year ago several Iowa Aas were very happy with my extra effort and care.
He tells his story; How drinking ruined his life as a successful attorney.
How he came into contact with an AA passing through Iowa and got sober.
The first meeting of the first group in the history of Iowa Alcoholics Anonymous.
About his wife and how alcoholism affects the wives of alcoholics.
The first slip, and it’s aftermath in the budding group.
How the wives helped the men get over the tragedy of the first slip.
His work with alcoholics in his COURT CLASS.
Ray Harrison became a judge and probated alcoholic offenders into a program for Alcoholics who didn’t or wouldn’t fit in with the AA of the time.
Many enjoyed great success and he presents this rather humorously.
He had their permission to show their mug shot and then a picture taken voluntarily months of sobriety later.
An extraordinary man with a fantastic and enjoyable message.
Wrote highly collectable AA book CLANCY GOT SOBER
Ray was a personal friend of Bill Wilson.
Bill even traveled to Iowa to attend the anniversary celebration for Ray in 1948.
A very upbeat message delivered to an enthusiastic crowd of AAs.
Very Enjoyable Recording Very Good AA History CD
