Description
Harold G of Baltimore Maryland at 58th Greeley Stampede February 8, 2009 Greeley Colorado.
• Harold was an AA Trustee and worked on the archives commitee.
• After some pleasantries he begins by talking about some of the people and events that led to the founding of AA.
• He concludes the AA History part of his talk explaining that Dr Carl Jung did not understand the problem but did understand the solution.
• Dr Silkworth knew the problem but did not know the solution.
• The Oxford Group didn’t think there was a problem or understand that they had the solution to the problem.
• It wasn’t till Ebby connected with Bill that the problem and solution came together.
• Then Bill and Dr Bob connected they discovered how to keep the solution and not fall back into the problem.
• Harold then talks about his own Alcoholism problem and how with the help of AA he found the solution for it.
• A really good talk that makes plain some very profound truths.
